Dr Margot Anderson completed her undergraduate studies in 2001 at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry, achieving first-class honours and a University Medal. After graduating, Margot worked in a large group practice in Brisbane as a general dentist. During this time, she developed an interest in endodontics and subsequently moved to Victoria where she graduated as a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry from the University of Melbourne.
On her return to Brisbane, Margot joined the Endodontic Group, and she currently works part-time at the Aspley practice. She’s a registered specialist endodontist and has a special interest in innovations in endodontic materials, which formed the basis of her thesis on rotary titanium instrumentation.
Margot is a member of the Australian Dental Association and is a committee member of the Australian Society of Endodontology. She’s been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching at both the University of Queensland and Griffith University and has held the position of Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. Margot has also lectured locally and interstate to a number of study groups and professional organisations.
